Rays of the afternoon sun linger on tarmac across Tokyo as vehicles continue to scream across the threshold of midnight, passion burning while soon to be reunited partners anticipate their first kiss since the beginning of a long commute home, the only possible soundtrack over humming engines, piercing horns and the occasional screech of rubber some indecipherable radio channel, dulled by poor reception. Despite this, you remain tuned in, soaking up every last melodic pulse from your car's pitiful lone speaker, providing musical accompaniment that ebbs and flows in perfect synchronicity with scenery fading into the distance, accentuated by flickering streetlights.
